Darryl Phillips
Darryl Phillips is a Principal at The ICU and responsible for gauging the direction of new techniques and technologies for content creation through various mediums across current and emerging media platforms. Darryl also provides strategic consulting services for a variety of companies, private corporations, and independent artists. In addition to The ICU, Darryl is the Co-Founder and CEO of 303 Network, Inc. and has been the company’s strategic visionary.
From 2007 until 2009, Darryl produced and directed over 60 music videos, as well as a host of fashion, entertainment, and educational shorts. From 2002 until 2006, Darryl co-founded and served as the Executive Producer and Publisher of BLOW!, an entertainment magazine which was nationally distributed and licensed in several select international countries. Prior to starting The ICU and BLOW!, Darryl spent four years managing several recording artists in the music and entertainment fields. During this period Darryl worked with many successful artists including multi-platinum group The Fugees and the actress and music icon Queen Latifah.
From 1997 until 2004, Darryl was the CEO of NTZ Management, Inc. Darryl created a video services business, oversaw all video production, and developed a talented roster of video editing professionals. Darryl also established a client roster of over 60 consumer marketing, fashion, and media accounts, including Martin Agency, Sean John, Lacoste, Rush Philanthropic, Olympus, New Balance, MTV Networks, Ted Baker, Mullen Agency, and DKC. In addition, Darryl founded and managed the artist development business, negotiated recording agreements, administered recording budgets, and provided multimedia services to assist clients with marketing and promoting their music, writings, and brands.
Darryl attended Emory University and has been an independent entrepreneur since 1997.
